Worthington Steel said earnings and revenue fell in its fiscal first quarter, which was hurt by lower prices and volumes. The metals processor on Wednesday posted earnings attributable to controlling interest of $28.4 million, or 56 cents a share, for its three months ended Aug. 31, down from $58.5 million, or $1.19 a share, in last year's quarter.
