The trends on Gift Nifty also indicate a gap-down start for the Indian benchmark index. The Gift Nifty was trading around 25,720 level, a discount of nearly 255 points from the Nifty futures’ previous close.

India stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Capital Goods and Auto sectors led shares lower. At the close in NSE, the Nifty 50 fell 2.12%, while the BSE Sensex 30 index lost 2.

The BSE Sensex stood at 82,710.92, down 1,555.37 points or 1.85 per cent. The NSE Nifty was down 484.95 points, or 1.88 per cent, at 25,311.95.

After correcting from highs and trading in narrow range , analysts expect Nifty can test 25,680-25,650, on downside say experts. On the upside trend decider will be above 25,910.
